- James Solomon - A field commander, the player character for the GDI Twisted Dawn missions.
- Mark Jamison Sheppard - The supreme commander of the Global Defense Initiative during the First Tiberium War.
- J.C. Carter - A GDI field commander involved in the early battles of the First Tiberium War in Estonia.

- Nod Commander - A field commander, the player character for the Nod Twisted Insurrection missions.
- Kane - The prophetic leader of the Brotherhood, went missing in 2019 after the destruction of the Temple of Nod in Sarajevo.
