The Phoenix Regiment is one of the two subfactions of the Global Defense Initiative, and the main protagonist subfaction of the GDI campaign of Twisted Insurrection.
The PHOENIX REGIMENT is a GDI splinter group opposing the UN decision to diminish GDI. They continue to fight the Brotherhood despite overwhelming odds, relying on light units and hit-and-run tactics not unlike those of their sworn enemy.[1]
